Washingtonville Little League provides every child, enrolled with our organization, the opportunity to learn how to be a part of a team and play the games of T-ball, Baseball and Softball. We strive to help the children playing in our program to grow physically, emotionally and socially.

We’re quickly approaching the beginning of our league’s 60th season, which starts with Opening Day festivities on Saturday, April 14.
As part of our anniversary season celebration, we’re changing the Opening Day parade route and want to make sure everyone is informed so that we can have a smooth start to the year. We’ll begin lining up between 8:15-8:45 AM on Saturday morning, so we ask that you plan to arrive during this time to help mitigate confusion with the new route.
PARADE ROUTE DETAILS
We’ll be lining up on the Woodfield side of Ahern Blvd (blue pin on map below), marching down North St to Route 94, make a right onto Route 94, then left onto Route 208 and finally a left onto Depot St. into Mays Field (orange pin on map below). Follow the music from That’s Entertoonment DJ Jeff Bllizzard!
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION!
We have done our best to set up parking to accommodate our families, so we ask that you please follow these instructions so we can respect the residents of the area. There is available parking in the following areas (circled in green on the map below)
→ AVAILABLE PARKING ON FATHER TIERNEY CIRCLE ON THE CEMETERY SIDE, PLEASE STAY TO THAT SIDE AS THERE IS AN EVENT AT LITTLE LAMBS.
→ AVAILABLE PARKING ON THE GRASS AT BROTHERHOOD WINERY ON THE UPPER END BY AHERN BLVD
→ AVAILABLE PARKING IN THE STOP N SHOP PARKING LOT
Please do not park on the following roads:
***THERE IS NO PARKING ON EITHER SIDE OF AHERN BLVD***
***THERE IS NO PARKING ON WOODFIELD DRIVE***
***THERE IS NO PARKING ON BROTHERHOOD PLAZA DRIVE***
IF YOU PLAN TO PARK AT MAYS FIELD, DO NOT PARK BY THE GATE LEADING INTO MAYS. ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FULTON SQUARE.
We’ll have Washingtonville Little League board members at the parking areas to assist with parking and directions. We’re still looking for volunteers to assist us with parking and set up, so please make yourself available to a board member on site if you are willing and able to help.
Once we get to Mays Field, our opening ceremonies will kick off with introductions of our guests, followed by a ceremonial first pitch with our group that played in that inaugural 1958 season. Finally, we’ll kick off our season with games scheduled. (The schedule may fluctuate due to the time it takes to get through all of the above, so we ask for your patience.)
Our vendor event will begin as our scheduled games kick off, so please join us in Fulton Square for live music from HUDSON BLUE to support our local business.
Last but not least, we will cap off our day with an adult celebration of our anniversary at The Meadowbrook with a dinner from 7-11 PM. The cost is $60 per person, which includes a 4-hour open bar, buffet dinner and music. We still have seats available, so please contact Pattie King (PattieK@washll.org) if you would like to attend. Final numbers are due to the venue on Wednesday, April 11.
Many people have put in many hours to make this Opening Day special and memorable, so we sincerely hope you enjoy our effort to celebrate 60 years of the Washingtonville Little League. We would not be here if not for the generations of families that have played before. We hope to honor the past, celebrate the present and prepare for the future.
Thank you for your continued support and patience.
